Everyone has a story. Everyone knows a story.

We live with them daily and hold onto the ones that make us cry just as tightly as the ones that make us laugh.

A story comes from a stone of thought.

Chiseled into form, we create the tale through order and chaos.

Pressed out from hand-grinding work, every story is an exercise of compassion and creativity.

A cloud of choking dust covered everything. Nothing was of colour. The greyness was all that Arvino could see from his front door. The road ahead of him was on fire. Everything moved with sound but he could not find the cause of the chaos.

19 years old, Arvino looks for his younger brother Yano. The burning skyscrapers and falling embers created a hellscape for him to move through. The lapping winds and flames formed twisters of fire that burned so fast through neighbourhoods that any remaining cries were silenced with a fury.

Yano was still inside the home when the last bomb struck. Arvino could hear his parents shout at him to get inside when it all went white with a piercing sound. The song of the bomb was still singing in his ears as he recovered his bearings.
